• VAPID keys generated on your server with OpenSSL; payloads encrypted per subscriber (RFC 8291) and delivered straight to the browser vendors' endpoints
• Subscriptions, tags, country, device, time zone, language and a consent record live only in your database
• Signed unsubscribe and "download my data" links; CSV export of everything held

• Prompt designer: floating bell with a card, bottom bar, or the native dialog; delay, scroll depth, page rules, position, colours, copy, snooze, consent line, privacy link — with a live preview

Send

• Title, A/B title, message, link, icon, big image; test to your own browser
• Audience: tags (any/all), excluded tags, countries, devices, logged-in state, last-seen window — live match count
• Send now, schedule, repeat daily/weekly/monthly, deliver at each subscriber's local time
• Per-minute queue worker with retries; delivery and click stats, per-variant click rate
• Readers are tagged by the categories they read (cat:slug) for interest targeting; PushPress.tag() adds your own

Automate

• Push on publish per post type, category and author, title/body templates, featured image, a per-post box to skip or customise
• RSS-to-push for external feeds (hourly)
• WooCommerce: abandoned-cart reminders, back-in-stock alerts ([pushpress_stock]), order status pushes

In-app notification centre

• Bell in the admin bar and [pushpress_bell] for logged-in users: list, unread count, mark read, browser-notification switch
• Any push can also land in-app; quick in-app sends to everyone or one user

Mobile

• Firebase Cloud Messaging v1 with a service-account key (Android; iOS through Firebase's APNs); device registry endpoint for your app
