MeetPress

MeetPress puts real video meetings on your WordPress site. It connects to an AlphaCall server — self-hosted on your AlphaPanel or the hosted one at call.alphaxp.net — with an API token, and adds everything WordPress needs around it.

Meetings on your pages

• Meeting room block + shortcode — an embedded meeting (iframe) or a launch card; visitors join in the page, no app needed
• Rooms — create and manage them from WordPress: waiting room, PIN, guests on/off, max people, end-to-end encryption, schedule with recurrence
• Guest links — site links that forward to a room: expiring, optionally one-time, passing the visitor's name
• Invites — invitation text and .ics per room; dial-in details when your server has a phone line

Bookings

• Booking calendar block + shortcode — services with length, price, buffers and colour; weekly availability with exceptions; slots in the visitor's own time zone; minimum notice and booking horizon
• A room per booking — created on the server at the booked time (waiting room / PIN / E2EE per service); the customer gets a join link that opens 20 minutes before the start
• Emails — confirmation with an .ics invite, host notification, reminders the day before and an hour before
• Attendance — mark attended / no-show; no-show counts per customer
• WooCommerce — paid services go through checkout; the session confirms when the order is paid, cancels on refund

What the server provides

1:1 calls peer to peer, group rooms through an SFU, screen share, chat, host controls, live captions, notes and a shared whiteboard, web push, phone dial-in (Asterisk), an Android app.
