ServerScaler — architecture & feature overview

Overview

ServerScaler integrates with a dedicated-server scaling backend over SignalR with JWT auth. A helper library validates and builds server endpoints.

Fork note Module DSSLite was renamed to ServerScaler for UE 4.27–5.0+ (vendored SignalR client + jwt-cpp kept inside the module). A URL/endpoint helper library was added.
Disabled by default This plugin ships the bundled third-party library SignalR client, jwt-cpp and is shipped with "EnabledByDefault": false. Enable it from Edit → Plugins (or set the flag in its .uplugin) once the library builds on your target platform.

Installation

  1. Copy the ServerScaler folder into your project's Plugins/ directory.
  2. C++ projects: regenerate project files and build. Blueprint-only projects can launch the editor directly.
  3. Open Edit → Plugins and confirm ServerScaler is enabled (it is off by default — turn it on).
